Car Lift Dubai to Abu Dhabi

Daily shared carpool seats and private cars from Dubai to Abu Dhabi down the E11, with door-to-door pick-up across Dubai and a fixed fare agreed before you go.

A car lift from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, run like a commute — not a taxi

The Dubai to Abu Dhabi run is roughly 140 km door to door and takes 75 to 100 minutes on the E11 Sheikh Zayed Road. Doing it alone costs you fuel, Salik on the way out of Dubai, the Abu Dhabi road toll at Ghantoot, parking at the other end and about 250 km a day of wear on your own car. Sharing that drive with three or four other people who are making exactly the same trip is what this service exists to do.

You have two ways to travel. A shared carpool seat puts you in a car with up to three others on a scheduled departure. A private car gives you the whole vehicle, your own timing and a direct route with no other stops — which usually works out cheaper than separate seats once you are three or more people, or if you are carrying luggage.

Where we collect you in Dubai

Pick-up is door to door in the areas we cover daily: Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, Marina, JLT, Business Bay, Silicon Oasis and International City. On a shared departure the driver builds a collection loop, so the order matters — Deira and Bur Dubai are collected first because they sit furthest from the E11, and Marina or JLT last since they are effectively on the way out. That is why your pick-up time and the departure time are not the same, and we always send both.

A practical note on towers: in parts of Marina, JLT and Business Bay, drivers cannot wait at the entrance or enter the basement. In those buildings the driver will call when close and meet you at the drop-off lay-by. Tell us your tower name when you book and we will tell you exactly where to stand.

Where we drop you in Abu Dhabi

  • Abu Dhabi city centre — Corniche, Al Danah, Hamdan Street and the government offices around Al Falah.
  • Khalifa City — the first realistic drop after the bridge, and the shortest of the Abu Dhabi legs.
  • Mussafah — the industrial and workshop area; add roughly 15 minutes from the city centre.
  • Al Reem Island — Shams, Marina Square and the Gate towers.
  • Yas Island — offices, the hotels and the venues, reached before the city on the E11.

Payment is cash to the driver at the end of the trip, or bank transfer if you are on a monthly or corporate account. Nothing is taken when you book. If you make this trip most days, the monthly office pick and drop plan is cheaper per journey than booking seat by seat.

What you get on every Dubai to Abu Dhabi lift

  • Fixed fare, tolls included — the shared seat and the private car already cover Salik, the Ghantoot toll and fuel. Nothing is added at the drop-off, and there is no meter running in traffic.
  • Door-to-door collection — we collect from your building in eight Dubai areas and drop at your address in Abu Dhabi, not at a meeting point three kilometres from where you actually need to be.
  • Driver details the night before — you get the driver’s name, mobile number, car model and plate the evening before you travel, so nobody is standing on a kerb at 06:00 wondering which car is theirs.

FAQ

Car Lift Dubai to Abu Dhabi — your questions

What time do cars leave Dubai for Abu Dhabi?
Our main shared departures leave Dubai between 05:30 and 07:00 for people starting work at 08:00 or 09:00, and again between 16:30 and 19:00 for the evening run. Deira and Bur Dubai are collected first because they are furthest from the E11, and Marina or JLT last. Private cars leave whenever you ask, including overnight.
How much is a car lift from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?
Fares are fixed and agreed upfront on WhatsApp before you travel, with no meter, no surge and no Salik or fuel added at the end. You can take a shared carpool seat or a private car for the whole vehicle, which makes sense from about three passengers upwards. Message +971 50 149 4561 with your route and we'll send you a quote in about two minutes.
How long does the drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi take?
Between 75 and 100 minutes via the E11 Sheikh Zayed Road, depending on where you are collected and how many stops the shared car has. Add roughly 15 minutes if you are heading beyond Abu Dhabi city to Mussafah or Yas Island, and allow extra on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings when the route is busiest.
Can you pick me up from my building in Dubai?
In most cases yes. We cover Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, Marina, JLT, Business Bay, Silicon Oasis and International City door to door. In towers with restricted access, such as parts of Marina and JLT, the driver will usually meet you at the building entrance or the nearest lay-by rather than the basement.
How much luggage can I bring on a shared seat?
One suitcase and one handbag or laptop bag per shared seat, which is what fits when the car is full. If you are travelling with more, tell us when you book and we will either reserve a second seat for the luggage or suggest a private car instead.
