Event Pickup

Group and event transport across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Multiple cars, one coordinator and arrival times that hold, for weddings, conferences and airport groups.

Group transport where the timing is the whole job

Moving one person is a ride. Moving twenty is a plan. The difference is not the number of cars — cars are easy — it is that a group has a single moment it has to arrive by, and every guest, every hotel lobby and every flight is a chance to miss it. What you are really buying here is somebody whose job on the day is to stop that happening.

Every event booking gets one coordinator. They hold all the drivers on WhatsApp, they know the guest list and the timings, and you have one number to call — not eight drivers to chase individually while you are supposed to be at the event yourself.

The events we run most

  • Weddings — guests collected from home or hotel across Dubai, cars on standby at the venue while people leave at their own pace, and a late run for the ones who stay to the end.
  • Conferences and corporate days — hotel-to-venue shuttling in Dubai, or a full group down the E11 to Abu Dhabi city, Yas Island or the Corniche and back the same evening.
  • Staff outings and team days — one invoice, no mileage claims, and nobody nominated as the designated driver.
  • Airport groups — guests landing on different flights at Dubai International or Zayed International, met with a name board and driven straight to the venue or hotel.
  • Family occasions — Eid gatherings, graduations and birthdays, where half the family is in Abu Dhabi and half is in Dubai.

How we handle a group on the E11

We do not convoy. Cars driving in a line down Sheikh Zayed Road separate within ten minutes anyway, and then the whole group waits in a car park for the stragglers. What we do instead is give every car the same arrival target and a staggered departure to meet it, sized to the 75 to 100 minute journey. Guests from Deira and Bur Dubai leave first, Marina and JLT leave last, and everyone arrives inside the same window. It is less dramatic than a convoy and it works considerably better.

Practicalities worth settling early

Waiting versus returning. Holding cars at a venue costs more than dropping and coming back later, because the driver and the car are yours for that time. For a wedding where guests trickle out from 22:00 onwards, standby is worth it. For a conference with a fixed 17:00 finish, a return run is cheaper and we will say so.

Flights. Send us the flight numbers rather than the times. We track the actual arrival, so a delayed landing means the car waits instead of leaving on a schedule that stopped being true three hours ago.

Numbers. We run sedans seating up to four, so a group is a count of cars — ten guests is three cars, forty is ten. Past about fifty people we will tell you plainly if a coach is the better tool for part of it.

Send us the date, the venue and a rough headcount on WhatsApp and we will come back with a fixed total for the day. For a single car rather than a group, the private car lift is the simpler booking.

What comes with an event booking

  • One coordinator, one number — all the drivers sit on one WhatsApp group with a coordinator who knows the timings. You call one person on the day, not eight drivers in sequence.
  • Arrival times that hold — every car works backwards from your arrival target with a staggered departure, sized to the 75–100 minute E11 run. No convoy, no group waiting in a car park.
  • One fixed total for the day — cars, waiting time and tolls quoted as a single figure before the date, payable by transfer or invoice. Nothing is recalculated afterwards because the night ran long.

FAQ

Event Pickup — your questions

How many people can you move at once?
We work in sedans of up to four passengers each, so a group is simply a number of cars running together. Ten guests is three cars, forty is ten. Above roughly fifty people we will tell you honestly if a coach is the better tool for part of the job rather than pretend otherwise.
How far in advance should I book event transport?
For a handful of cars, two or three days is usually enough. For a wedding, a conference or anything over about six cars, give us two weeks — not because the cars are scarce, but because the timings and the guest list are what take the work, and those are better settled early.
Can the cars wait at the venue during the event?
Yes. You can book cars on standby for the duration, which is normal for weddings where guests leave at different times. It costs more than a single drop because the driver and car are held for you, so we quote waiting time separately and tell you upfront when a drop-and-return would be cheaper.
Do you handle guests arriving on different flights?
Yes, this is one of the most common event jobs we run. Send the flight numbers and we track the arrivals; if a flight lands late the car waits rather than leaving on the original schedule. We can meet guests inside arrivals with a name board at Dubai International or Zayed International.
How do you keep a group of cars together on the E11?
We do not try to convoy them, because cars separate in traffic and then everyone waits at the venue anyway. Instead every car has the same arrival target and departs on a staggered schedule to hit it. One coordinator holds all the drivers on WhatsApp and you have one number to call, not eight.
